Starfall Superlatives: Character Traits & Relationships (ROUND ONE NOMINATIONS!)
Welcome to the ✨Starfall Superlatives✨ —a Prythian twist on a timeless yearbook tradition!
Over the next few weeks, you’ll have the chance to first nominate, then vote to crown winners in four separate categories (aka rounds) consisting of six superlatives each.
The categories will cover everything from character traits and relationships to best elements and scenes, making sure no topic is left out of the running!
Here’s how it works…
Each round will begin with a nomination period, where you can nominate up to 4 DIFFERENT characters or pairings per each of the six superlatives. You will do this by clicking the ‘My Nomination(s)’ option, then typing in the names of your nominees, separated by commas (e.g., Rhysand, Feyre, Cassian, Nesta).
Because this round features superlatives that include more than one character, please use the ‘&’ symbol when typing your nominations (e.g., ‘Feyre & Rhysand, Nesta & Cassian’ for Best Couple). Please refrain from using ship names such as ‘Feysand’ or ‘Nessian’.
That being said, please feel free to use group names for the ‘Best Friendship’ superlative. For example, instead of typing ‘Rhysand, Cassian, & Azriel’ you can type ‘Bat Boys’ or instead of ‘Nesta, Gwyn, & Emerie’ you can type ‘Valkyries’.
There is no limit to how many times you nominate the same character across different superlatives, but please do not vote for the same character more than once for any given superlative (e.g. DO NOT type ‘Nesta, Nesta, Nesta, Nesta’ for Best Character Growth).
To make it easier for me to tally the nominations, everyone will be limited to only one vote each. This means you cannot submit your nominees separately, they must be typed in all at once like shown above.
If you don’t have any characters to nominate for a specific superlative, simply click the ‘No Nomination’ option.
At the end of the nomination period, I will count all the votes and narrow them down to the four most nominated characters/pairings per superlative. Once nominations close, the official voting period will begin!
The rounds will be broken down as follows:
- *Character Traits & Relationships: This first round is open for nominations now through Thursday, July 30th. The final four nominees will be announced that evening and the official voting will be open until Monday, August 3rd.*
- Secondary & Minor Characters: This second round will open for nominations Tuesday, August 4th through Thursday, August 6th. The final four nominees will be announced that evening and the official voting will be open until Monday, August 10th.
- Prythian Picks: This third round will open for nominations Tuesday, August 11th through Thursday, August 13th. The final four nominees will be announced that evening and the official voting will be open until Monday, August 17th.
- Battle of the Scenes: This final round will open for nominations Tuesday, August 18th through Thursday, August 20th. The final four nominees will be announced that evening and the official voting will be open until Monday, August 24th.
ALL voting will take place here on Maasversity, with the official results to be announced on my ACOTAR Fandom Facebook Page at the end of each round!
To keep things interesting, I won’t be announcing the superlatives in each category until the nomination period has opened.
